Griffin's Early Arrival

Griffin surprised us by arriving 5 weeks early! On October 20, 2008 at midnight, Karen's water broke. After frantically packing a bag, we drove to the hospital and checked in around 2:00 am. At 8:00 am, Karen was given pitocin to speed up the contractions. At 5:18 pm, Griffin Cameron Lush entered the world! He weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 18 inches. He was perfectly healthy. We were overjoyed and overcome with love the moment we met our little angel.  Here are a few pictures from the big day.
